It’s not a proven fact, but many smokers are consuming mangoes an hour before lighting up to boost their highs. It is believed that the myrcene can possibly strengthen and lengthen the effects. Not to mention they are the delicious of all magical fruits. Who doesn’t love mangos!
These are not only good for you due to their high levels of antioxidants, but cranberries have been used effectively for years by recovery houses to help cleanse the body if you’re too baked. Obviously the dried ones (also known as Craisins) can come with some heavy sugar additives, but your still on the right side of healthy almost any processed sweets. Try mixing it in with your favourite nuts for added health benefits and taste!
With virtually zero cholesterol, trans-fats and a punch of protein. This buttery chick pea spread goes perfectly with veggies of all kinds to dip in. If that doesn’t do it for you, step it up a notch to naan bread or some whole wheat crackers. Crunchy, delicious and healthy.
Easy to make, delicious, crisp, sweet, refreshing, frozen grapes are a perfect snack. I prefer red grapes but try both kinds to find your favorite. Simply buy, wash, stick in freezer overnight (or a few hours if your in a rush to eat ’em).
Nori or Roasted Seaweed Snacks
Definitely don’t knock it ’till you’ve tried it! Nori (or roasted seaweed) has hit all major food markets and its better then not bad. The crunchy, salty snack is surprisingly satisfying while being very light. They come in several flavors like Sea Salt & Brown Sugar, Seasme, Wasabi, Olive Oil and more. As long as you’re not allergic to salt, you’ll be happy with this choice.
